Positions held in BPW: Huntly & Districts-committee about 7yrs,  2yrs secretary, 2yrs president, several years as secretary BPW Huntly & Districts Festival of Artz & Design, BPWNZ project committee-2yrs, presently BPWNZ Project Convenor

How long have you been a member of BPW? Joined 14th April 1993

What is your idea of perfect happiness? Enjoying retirement & every day can be treated as a holiday (if only!)

What is a trait you most deplore in others? In my District nursing life looking after 3rd generation unemployed

What is your greatest extravagance? Cooking books-I have  just about every one on the market. My husband says if he could eat paper he would be well fed.

What or who is the greatest love of your life? Having a wonderful husband of 44yrs, 2 super sons, 2 daughters in law  who are more like daughters & 2 precious granddaughters, Rachel age 8 going on 14,   & Nicole age 3 ½  who cant wait to be BIG.

Which talent would you most like to have? Do the odd jobs around the house that  only a man seems to be able to do.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I wouldn’t change a thing.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? 50year nursing career, & loved every minute of it.

What is your most treasured possession? My cooking books &  all the family photo’s.

What is the quality you most like in a person? Honesty

Who is your favourite hero of fiction? Don’t have any

Who are your heros in real life? Athletes who represent NZ

What is your motto? Cleanliness
