Online Media Standards Authority – Complaints Committee Public Member Vacancies
The Online Media Standards Authority (OMSA) is a new self-regulatory organisation
established to set and maintain standards relating to online news and current affairs
content published by our members.
We are in the process of establishing a complaints committee to consider complaints from
consumers. It is a seven member committee, with a public member majority and will be
chaired by former Court of Appeal Judge, Hon. Sir Bruce Robertson.
We invite you to nominate a person or persons who you think may be suitable as public
members of this committee. Public members must have no current connection with any
New Zealand media. The appointment will be made from April 2013 (generally for two
years or another mutually agreed term).

Nominations including a curriculum vitae should be addressed to the Chair of the

nominations is 9am, Monday 11 March 2013.
