MWA (Ministry of Womens Affairs) response to the CEDAW actions

Attached is the MWA (Ministry of Womens Affairs) response to the CEDAW actions. Basically NZ has signed up to the Commission on the Elimination of Discrimination against women and we have to work towards removing discrimination. NZ has to report on our progress to an international committee and the committee gives us a report card.

A group of womens organisations has asked the Ministry of womens affairs to respond to where we are up to on achieving the outcomes in the recent report card. Here is the response from government which gives us a good insight into what the govt priorities are and how far we have to go for women.
