Pink Ribbon Street Appeal 2014

Dear Friends,

Pink Ribbon 2014

The Pink Ribbon Street Appeal 2014 needs volunteers. Can your group please help?

This year is the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s 20th anniversary we’re hoping it’ll be our most successful Street Appeal yet!

Our NZBCF mission is to stop New Zealanders developing and dying from breast cancer and support those woman who already have the disease. We recently received the MoH 2012 provisional figures. Disturbingly, the number of female breast cancer registrations was 3003, which was over 3000 for the first time. The challenge is still enormous and we would be grateful for your help to enable our work – through life saving early detection campaigns, research into better treatments and support for women with the disease. It’s only through the involvement of amazing community groups like yours that we are able to support and educate others and we would be honoured if you would support The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation again this year.

Whether your members can help us by looking after a site for one or both days, or individual members can volunteer for a couple of hours, we would welcome your support.

The success of our appeal couldn’t happen without your help. Can you help us on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th October when we take to the streets to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer?

Please share this need with your members; we need your support.

To find out more or to volunteer your group please call us on 0508 105 105 or email us at pinkribbon@nzbcf.org.nz

Thank you so much, we look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Kind regards,
