At this Awards event, last Wednesday BPW NZ was recognised for the successful bid for the Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting. I was presented a certificate and silver fern. Please take the time to look at this website and Tourism NZ because there are a number of opportunities for us to promote the conference, Tourism NZ will provide fliers for attracting delegates to NZ, we can advertise our conference through their website and AirNZ have implemented a discounted flight scheme for attendees from Australia and our event fits within the timeframes.

There are some fantastic opportunities opening up and I am also pleased to announce our first keynote speaker Matthew Tukaki has confirmed he would love to attend the event in 2016. I was also advised that he is doing a huge amount of work around the areas of business women and domestic violence for Maori and Pacific women.
More to come on another opportunity that is opened up for members with this relationship.
So much happening at present….so this is just a quick note to keep you up to date on events, sorry Lorraine didn’t see this the following day as it is now a week old, but could still go on the blog.
